Who co-wrote Despicable Me 2 with Ken Daurio?

Cinco Paul co-wrote Despicable Me 2 with Ken Daurio.

Paul and Daurio were the screenwriting team behind Despicable Me 2, the 2013 sequel to the original film. They continued the story of Gru, who is recruited by the Anti-Villain League to investigate the theft of a powerful mutagen while adjusting to life as a father and business owner.

The sequel retained the original film’s central creative team in several important roles. Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin returned as directors, while Steve Carell again voiced Gru and Coffin voiced the Minions. The screenplay expanded Lucy Wilde’s role and developed the romantic relationship between Lucy and Gru.

Matthew Fogel later became associated with the screenplay for Minions: The Rise of Gru and Despicable Me 4, while Brian Lynch wrote Minions. Mike White co-wrote Despicable Me 4 with Daurio. Those later credits can cause confusion, but Paul is the correct co-writer for Despicable Me 2.
