Trish Sie choreographed the treadmill routine in OK Go’s 2006 music video for “Here It Goes Again.”
The video shows the band performing a tightly synchronized dance on six moving treadmills in a single continuous-looking take. Sie, the sister of OK Go singer Damian Kulash, created the routine with the group and helped turn the simple setup into a precise piece of physical choreography.
The clip was recorded with a stationary camera in a rehearsal studio rather than using elaborate locations or digital effects. Its accessible, unexpected concept helped it spread rapidly online during the early era of viral video sharing.
The video also won the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video. That award is separate from its choreography and online popularity, although all three helped make the clip one of the defining music videos of the 2000s.
