Who captained the Gujarat Titans in the 2024 IPL season?

Shubman Gill captained the Gujarat Titans in the 2024 IPL season. He took over the leadership after Hardik Pandya left the franchise for Mumbai Indians before the season.

Gill had been one of Gujarat’s central players since the team’s debut in 2022. He enjoyed a standout 2023 season as a batter, scoring 890 runs and winning the Orange Cap. That form helped make him the natural successor when the captaincy changed.

Under Gill, Gujarat Titans finished eighth in the 2024 league table after struggling with injuries and close matches. He still produced a memorable campaign with the bat, including a century against Chennai Super Kings alongside Sai Sudharsan, who also scored three figures in that match.

Rashid Khan was Gujarat’s captain in 2024 only when deputising in some contexts, while David Miller was a senior player. Hardik Pandya had captained the team in its first two seasons, not in 2024.
