Lenore Zann voices Rogue in X-Men '97 season 2. Zann’s performance continues the role she originated in X-Men: The Animated Series and reprised when the Marvel Studios revival began in 2024.
Rogue is one of the central members of the animated X-Men. Her mutant ability lets her absorb a person’s memories, powers, and life energy through physical contact, making touch both a weapon and a serious emotional risk. Her long-running relationship with Gambit is also one of the franchise’s defining character threads.
Zann originally voiced Rogue throughout the 1990s series and returned for X-Men '97 alongside other original performers, including Cal Dodd as Wolverine, George Buza as Beast, and Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm. The revival treats the new series as a continuation rather than a complete reboot.
