Which voice actress provided Lara Croft’s voice in the original Tomb Raider game?

Shelley Blond provided Lara Croft’s voice in the original Tomb Raider game.

Blond voiced Lara in the 1996 debut, including the character’s spoken dialogue during the game’s cinematic sequences. Her performance helped establish Lara’s clipped, confident English delivery at the beginning of the franchise.

The role changed hands in later games. Judith Gibbins voiced Lara in Tomb Raider II and Tomb Raider III, while Jonell Elliott voiced her in later Core Design titles including Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider: Chronicles. Keeley Hawes subsequently became strongly associated with the character in several releases.

Camilla Luddington is another frequent source of confusion because she voiced Lara in the 2013 reboot and its two sequels. That is a different era of the series. Shelley Blond’s credit belongs specifically to the first 1996 game.
