The SSE Arena hosted the opening night of Adele Live 2016.

The venue, officially known as the SSE Arena, Belfast, welcomed Adele for the tour’s first concert on 29 February 2016. The opening show introduced the arena production supporting her album 25, with songs including “Hello,” “Someone Like You,” “Rolling in the Deep” and “When We Were Young.”

The Belfast concert was significant because it marked Adele’s return to a full concert tour after several years away from large-scale touring. Reviews highlighted the combination of a large 21-piece band, visual effects and Adele’s conversational rapport with the audience.
