Which two performers recorded “Collision of Worlds” for Pixar’s Cars 2?

Brad Paisley and Robbie Williams recorded “Collision of Worlds” for Pixar’s Cars 2.

The song appears on the Cars 2 soundtrack and reflects the movie’s meeting of American racing culture with an international spy adventure. Paisley, an American country singer, performs with Williams, an English pop singer, creating a musical pairing that mirrors the film’s cross-Atlantic setting.

Randy Newman wrote the score and contributed songs associated with the Cars franchise, which can make soundtrack credits easy to confuse. “Collision of Worlds,” however, is specifically credited to Paisley and Williams. Paisley also performed “Nobody’s Fool” for the soundtrack.

Cars 2 was released in 2011 and features races in Tokyo, Porto Corsa, and London. The song’s title fits the film’s broader theme: Radiator Springs characters are brought into contact with global racing and international espionage.
