Which tour included Taylor Swift’s live performance of “august” in its set list?

Taylor Swift’s live performance of “august” was included in The Eras Tour set list.

The Eras Tour began in 2023 and revisited songs from across Swift’s career. “august” represented the Folklore era, alongside other songs from the album and a broader selection spanning her studio records. The tour’s concept made it a natural setting for the track, since each section was organized around a different musical era.

The song had also been performed at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021, before the tour began. That Grammy appearance was a medley with “cardigan” and “willow,” whereas the tour placed “august” within a large concert production built around Swift’s catalog.

Some listeners associate the song with the Reputation Stadium Tour because that tour was one of Swift’s major recent concert productions before the pandemic. However, “august” did not exist when that tour took place. It was released in 2020 and later became part of The Eras Tour’s Folklore section.
