Which Tekken spin-off stars Nina Williams as its protagonist?

The Tekken spin-off starring Nina Williams as its protagonist is Death by Degrees. Namco released this action-adventure game for the PlayStation 2 in 2005, expanding Nina’s role beyond the main fighting-game series.

Nina plays a professional assassin recruited by the CIA and MI6 to infiltrate Kometa, a criminal organization operating from a luxury cruise ship. Her cover is participation in a fighting tournament, but the mission soon becomes a solo investigation involving a dangerous weapons project and a battle against Kometa’s leadership.

Death by Degrees differs sharply from a standard Tekken game. It uses analog-stick-focused combat, exploration, puzzles, and targeted attacks that can break enemies’ bones. Anna Williams also appears as Nina’s rival, and completing the game unlocks an Anna Mode. Tekken Advance, Tekken Revolution, and Tekken Hybrid are related Tekken products, but none is Nina’s dedicated story spin-off.
