Which Tekken character uses the alter ego Violet? Lee Chaolan.
Lee adopts the Violet identity during Tekken 4, when he enters the fourth King of Iron Fist Tournament while concealing his true identity. The disguise lets him compete without immediately attracting the attention of the Mishima Zaibatsu, the organization that once employed and later expelled him.
The name is also connected to Lee’s technology company, Violet Systems. In Tekken 4, his goal is not simply to win the tournament: he wants to test Combot, an experimental combat robot, while pursuing his own business and personal ambitions. Violet is therefore an alter ego and public persona rather than a separate person.
Players sometimes confuse Violet with a distinct fighter because later games may present the character with a separate slot or palette. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 gives Violet a dedicated character slot and a prominent role in Fight Lab, but the canonical identity remains Lee Chaolan, Heihachi Mishima’s adopted son and Kazuya Mishima’s adoptive brother.
