Invictus Gaming defeated Evil Geniuses 2–0 in the grand final of ESL One Frankfurt 2014. The tournament was held at Commerzbank-Arena in Germany and was one of the first major Dota 2 events organized under the ESL One brand.

The Chinese team’s lineup included Ferrari_430, Hao, Chisbug, Banana and Faith. Their victory came after Invictus Gaming’s earlier success at The International 2012, but it represented a separate tournament title with its own qualification and playoff structure.
