Which team won the 2022 NRL Grand Final?

The Penrith Panthers won the 2022 NRL Grand Final.

Penrith defeated the Parramatta Eels 28–12 at Accor Stadium in Sydney on 2 October 2022. The victory gave the Panthers their second consecutive NRL premiership, after they had also won the 2021 Grand Final.

The result continued a strong period for Penrith, whose squad was built around a highly successful junior development system. The Panthers controlled the match after establishing an early advantage and kept Parramatta from mounting a winning comeback.

The NRL Grand Final is the championship match of Australia’s National Rugby League season. It is separate from the Super League Grand Final in the United Kingdom, so references to a rugby league grand final should always identify the competition and year.
