Which team won the 2022 Apex Legends Global Series Championship?

DarkZero Esports won the 2022 Apex Legends Global Series Championship.

The championship was held in Raleigh, North Carolina, in July 2022. DarkZero’s roster of Rhys “Zer0” Perry, Noyan “Genburten” Ozkose, and Rick “Sharky” Wirth finished first in the tournament’s final standings.

DarkZero represented the competitive Apex Legends scene’s international character. The organization was based in Australia’s esports ecosystem before competing under the DarkZero name, while the global championship brought together leading teams from several regions.

The event should not be confused with the 2022 ALGS Split 2 Playoffs, which were also held in Raleigh and were won by FURIA Esports. The Championship was the season-ending competition, whereas the Playoffs were a separate major event earlier in the competitive calendar.
