Continuum won the 2017 Six Invitational in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
The inaugural Six Invitational was held in Montreal, Canada, and featured the leading Rainbow Six Siege teams from the game’s first competitive season. Continuum defeated eRa Eternity in the final, establishing the first world champion in Ubisoft’s official Rainbow Six esports history.
The Continuum roster included Canadian players Troy “Canadian” Jaroslawski and Ammar “Necrox” Albanna, alongside teammates who later became associated with Evil Geniuses after the organization acquired the lineup. That roster transition is one reason the champion is sometimes remembered under a different team name.
The Six Invitational later became one of the major annual events in tactical shooter esports. Unlike the first edition, later tournaments expanded substantially in venue size, participating regions and qualification structure.
