Which team won the 2013 Call of Duty Championship?

The story behind the answer

Fariko Impact won the 2013 Call of Duty Championship.

The North American team defeated EnVyUs in the grand final of the first Call of Duty Championship, played using Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Fariko Impact’s lineup included Damon “Karma” Barlow, Marcus “MiRx” Carter, Christopher “Paradox” Sebire, and Marcus “TeePee” Larsen.

The event was held in Hollywood, California, and represented Activision’s first major official world championship for the Call of Duty competitive scene. Fariko Impact’s victory helped establish the event as the series’ flagship annual tournament.

The team’s title is sometimes mixed up with later Call of Duty Championship winners, including compLexity in 2014 and Denial Esports in 2015. The 2013 champion was Fariko Impact, and the game used for the competition was Black Ops II rather than a later Call of Duty release.
