Which team won Rocket League Championship Series Season 2?

FlipSid3 Tactics won Rocket League Championship Series Season 2. The team defeated Mock-It eSports EU in the world championship final in Amsterdam on December 4, 2016.

Season 2 was the second edition of the RLCS, which Psyonix created after Rocket League’s early competitive scene grew rapidly through online play and livestreaming. The season featured regional competition in North America and Europe before the best teams met at the LAN finals. FlipSid3’s victory followed its runner-up finish to iBUYPOWER Cosmic in Season 1.

The championship was especially notable because FlipSid3’s roster included prominent early Rocket League players such as Markydooda, kuxir97, and gReazymeister. A common mix-up is Season 4, which Gale Force eSports won, or Season 6, which Cloud9 captured. Team Dignitas did not win until Season 5.
