Which team won Elena Delle Donne’s WNBA championship before her 2026 Hall of Fame induction?

The Washington Mystics won Elena Delle Donne’s WNBA championship before her 2026 Hall of Fame induction.

Delle Donne joined Washington in 2017 after beginning her WNBA career with the Chicago Sky. In 2019, the Mystics posted one of the league’s strongest seasons and reached the WNBA Finals. Washington defeated the Connecticut Sun in a five-game Finals series to capture the first championship in franchise history.

The title was a major milestone for both the team and Delle Donne. She had already won the 2015 WNBA MVP award in Chicago, but the Washington championship added a team achievement to her individual résumé. She also won her second MVP award during the 2019 season.

The Chicago Sky is a frequent wrong answer because it was Delle Donne’s first WNBA team. However, her championship came after she moved to Washington, making the Mystics the correct team.
