Which team hosted the San Francisco leg of the 2026 California Classic?

The Golden State Warriors hosted the San Francisco leg of the 2026 California Classic. Their home venue, Chase Center, staged the San Francisco games on July 3, 5, and 6.

The event was expanded into a dual-location California Classic, with Sacramento serving as the other host city. The Sacramento Kings hosted games at Golden 1 Center from July 4 through July 6, creating a split format rather than a single-site tournament.

The San Francisco field included the Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and San Antonio Spurs. Golden State also entered a second team in the Sacramento portion, commonly identified as the Warriors’ Blue team, while the San Francisco entry was the Gold team.

A likely source of confusion is that the Kings also hosted part of the overall California Classic. They hosted the Sacramento leg, but the question asks specifically about San Francisco. That city’s venue and hosting organization were the Warriors and Chase Center.
