Ferrari has won the most Formula One Constructors’ Championships, with 16 titles. Scuderia Ferrari is the only team to have competed in every Formula One World Championship season since the series began in 1950.
Ferrari’s first constructors’ crown came in 1961, and its championship successes span several distinct eras. The team dominated again in the 1970s and early 1980s, then enjoyed an extraordinary run from 1999 through 2004, winning six consecutive titles during the Michael Schumacher era. Ferrari’s most recent constructors’ championship came in 2008.
The championship is awarded to the constructor whose cars score the most points across a season. Unlike the Drivers’ Championship, it combines the results of both cars, so team strategy, reliability and the performance of the full driver lineup all matter.
A frequent mix-up concerns Ferrari’s drivers’ titles versus constructors’ titles. Ferrari has also won 15 Drivers’ Championships, but those are separate records. McLaren moved into second place in the constructors’ standings with its 2024 and 2025 titles, yet it remains behind Ferrari’s total.
