Which team did the Chicago Bears defeat 24–15 in the final game of the 2026 NFL preseason?
Answer
Tennessee Titans
The Chicago Bears defeated the Tennessee Titans 24–15 in the final game of the 2026 NFL preseason.
The matchup was played on August 29, 2026, and was the last game on the league's preseason schedule. Chicago finished the exhibition campaign 2–1, while Tennessee ended 2–1 as well.
The Bears had already beaten Cleveland 34–10 in Week 1 and lost to another opponent in Week 2 before closing with the Titans. Their 24 points against Tennessee helped Chicago finish the preseason with 67 points scored and 52 allowed.
The final preseason game is often significant for fringe roster players because it is the last opportunity to make an impression before roster reductions. However, the result itself does not count toward regular-season records. A common mix-up is confusing this game with Chicago's 34–10 Week 1 victory over Cleveland.
