No team completed the 2026 NFL preseason with three shutout victories.
There were three shutouts during the entire 2026 preseason, but they were split among three different winners. The New York Jets defeated Pittsburgh 17–0, the Los Angeles Rams defeated New Orleans 34–0, and Jacksonville defeated Tampa Bay 19–0.
Because each of those teams recorded only one shutout, no club reached three. This distinction separates the number of shutout games from the number of shutouts by one team.
The result also illustrates why preseason summaries need careful wording. The Rams had a 3–0 record, while the Jets and Jaguars each finished 1–2 and 2–1 respectively, but only the Rams, Jets and Jaguars contributed one shutout apiece.
