Which Taylor Swift tour included “august” in its Folklore-era set section?

Taylor Swift included “august” in the Folklore section of The Eras Tour.

The Eras Tour ran from 2023 to 2024 and presented songs grouped around Swift’s different musical periods. During the Folklore segment, Swift performed “august” alongside other songs from the album, wearing a frilly gown that complemented the record’s cottagecore aesthetic.

The tour’s structure helped audiences experience Folklore as a distinct creative era rather than simply as a collection of isolated tracks. “august” fit naturally into that section because its production, fictional narrative, and late-summer imagery are strongly associated with the album’s atmosphere.

The song was also performed at the 2021 Grammys, but that was an awards-show medley rather than a tour. Swift’s earlier Red, Reputation Stadium, and 1989 tours belonged to different album eras and did not define the song’s established Folklore stage setting.
