Cartoon Network Studios produced the 2016 television reboot of The Powerpuff Girls.

The reboot returned Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup to television in a new series developed for Cartoon Network. It retained the basic premise of three superpowered kindergarten-aged sisters protecting Townsville while using a new production team, updated designs, and a different voice cast from the original program.

Cartoon Network Studios is the animation studio associated with the reboot’s production. It should not be confused with Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, which was involved with the earlier production history of the franchise. The 2016 series also differs from the original show in its cast and episode structure, even though the central characters remained familiar.
