Akuma is the Street Fighter character who appears as a guest fighter in Tekken 7. He was added through the Fated Retribution update and was included in the console and PC versions based on that expanded arcade edition.
Akuma is a Capcom character known in Street Fighter for mastering the Satsui no Hado. In Tekken 7’s story, Kazumi Mishima calls on him to repay a debt by killing both Heihachi Mishima and Kazuya Mishima. This gives his guest appearance a direct connection to the Mishima family conflict rather than making him a purely cameo character.
His gameplay also preserves recognizable Street Fighter traits, including projectile attacks and a dedicated EX meter that limits some special moves. Ken Masters, Chun-Li, and Ryu are famous Street Fighter fighters, but they do not appear as playable guest characters in Tekken 7. Akuma’s inclusion marked an important crossover between two landmark fighting-game franchises.
