Which streaming service released Taylor Swift’s film Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions?

The story behind the answer

Disney+ released Taylor Swift’s film Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions.

The documentary premiered on November 25, 2020, and features Swift performing all 17 songs from Folklore while discussing the album’s creation with co-producers Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff. Justin Vernon of Bon Iver also appears as a guest collaborator.

The sessions were filmed at Long Pond Studio in New York’s Hudson Valley. The setting gave the project an intimate, rustic atmosphere and provided a visual counterpart to Folklore’s reflective songwriting. Swift directed and produced the film, making it her feature directorial debut.

The film is especially relevant to “august” because Swift discusses the fictional love-triangle characters and performs the song in an acoustic studio setting. It should not be confused with the Eras Tour concert film or her earlier documentary Miss Americana, both of which were released through different platforms.
