Which Grammy category did Taylor Swift’s album Folklore win in 2021, carrying “august”?

Taylor Swift’s Folklore won Album of the Year at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2021.

The award recognized the album as a complete artistic project, including “august,” rather than honoring that track individually. Swift accepted the trophy with collaborators Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff.

Folklore became Swift’s third Album of the Year winner, following Fearless and 1989. It also made her the first woman to win the category three times at that point in Grammy history.

Album of the Year is distinct from Record of the Year and Song of the Year, which honor individual recordings or compositions. Folklore was nominated in several categories, but Album of the Year was its top victory.
