Which spacecraft used a Jupiter flyby in 2007 on its way to Pluto?

The story behind the answer

New Horizons used a Jupiter flyby in 2007 on its way to Pluto. Launched by NASA in January 2006, the spacecraft passed Jupiter on 28 February 2007 and used the planet’s gravity to increase its speed and alter its trajectory.

The maneuver shortened the journey to Pluto by roughly three years. It also served as a valuable rehearsal for the spacecraft’s later Pluto encounter, allowing mission controllers to test its instruments and operations in a busy planetary environment.

New Horizons conducted a four-month observing campaign around Jupiter. It studied the planet’s atmosphere, magnetosphere, faint rings and moons, including volcanic Io and all four Galilean moons. The flyby is sometimes confused with missions whose primary destinations were Jupiter or Saturn, but New Horizons was specifically bound for Pluto and the Kuiper Belt.
