Which South Park character is a talking towel?
Answer
Towelie
Answer
Towelie
Towelie is the South Park character who is a talking towel. He is a recurring anthropomorphic towel known for appearing unexpectedly, offering towel-related advice, and asking people whether they want to get high.
Towelie debuted in the season-five episode “Towelie,” which aired in 2001. In that story, Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny encounter him while dealing with an advanced video-game console. His bizarre interruptions and apparent inability to focus quickly establish the character’s comic identity.
Although Towelie looks like an ordinary blue towel, he can speak, move independently, and participate in the show’s plots. His marijuana use is one of his defining running jokes, but the character also satirizes merchandising and the way television shows create objects that can become marketable characters.
Towelie is voiced by Vernon Chatman, a South Park writer and producer. He is sometimes confused with Mr. Hankey because both are non-human talking characters, but Mr. Hankey is a talking piece of feces, while Towelie is the talking towel.
