Which song opens the standard track list of Confessions II?

“Which song opens the standard track list of Confessions II?” — “I Feel So Free” opens the standard edition. It is listed as track 1, ahead of “Good for the Soul,” “One Step Away,” and the rest of the album.

The song is a deep-house and post-disco track built around whispered, half-sung vocals and an electronic club atmosphere. Madonna previewed it when she announced the album, making it the first substantial musical introduction to the Confessions sequel.

“I Feel So Free” also connects the new album to dance-music history: it contains elements of Lil Louis’s 1989 acid-house classic “French Kiss.” That sample helps explain why listeners hear echoes of Madonna’s earlier club work, including “Future Lovers” from the original Confessions on a Dance Floor.

A common mix-up is confusing the opening track with the album’s lead single, “Bring Your Love,” which features Sabrina Carpenter. “Bring Your Love” was promoted as the lead single, but it is not the first song on the standard track list.
