Which song gave The Wanted their first UK number-one single in 2011?

“All Time Low” gave The Wanted their first UK number-one single in 2011.

The song was released on 1 July 2010 as the debut single by the British-Irish boy band. It was written by Steve Mac, Wayne Hector, Ed Drewett, and group member Nathan Sykes, and it introduced The Wanted with a polished pop sound and a dramatic, rhythm-driven chorus.

“All Time Low” reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in August 2010. The song’s chart success established the group before their later international breakthrough, “Glad You Came,” which became their second UK number-one single in 2011.

The dates can cause confusion because “All Time Low” was released in 2010, while its chart-topping run occurred in 2010 as well; the band’s next major number one, “Glad You Came,” arrived the following year.
