“Ride,” performed by ZZ Ward, plays over the end credits of Pixar's Cars 3.
The song appears on the Cars 3 soundtrack and accompanies the film's closing credits after Cruz Ramirez's breakthrough victory and Lightning McQueen's new direction. Its title fits the franchise's recurring focus on travel, racing, and the wider meaning of the road.
Cars 3 also includes music associated with other performers and songs written for the film, which can make soundtrack questions confusing. “Glory Days” is a song connected with the movie's promotional and soundtrack material, while “Try Everything” belongs to Disney's Zootopia. “Find My Way” is not the Cars 3 end-credit song.
ZZ Ward is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Zsuzsanna Eva Ward. The credited performance is specifically “Ride,” not a similarly themed song from another animated film or racing soundtrack.
