Jay-Z joined Beyoncé for the 2014 single “Drunk in Love.”
The song appears on Beyoncé’s self-titled fifth studio album, which was released without a traditional promotional campaign in December 2013. Jay-Z contributes a rap verse, making the recording a prominent collaboration between the married performers.
“Drunk in Love” became a major international hit and won two Grammy Awards at the 57th Grammy Awards: Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song. Its live performances also helped keep the track prominent in Beyoncé’s concert repertoire.
The collaboration is sometimes confused with other Beyoncé songs featuring Jay-Z, including “Crazy in Love” and “Déjà Vu.” “Drunk in Love” is the song from the self-titled album and features the repeated phrase associated with its title.
