Jay-Z features on Beyoncé's song “Crazy in Love.”
Released in 2003, “Crazy in Love” was the lead single from Beyoncé's debut solo album, Dangerously in Love. The song was produced by Rich Harrison and Beyoncé, with Jay-Z contributing a rap verse and an opening vocal appearance.
Its prominent horn sample comes from “Are You My Woman (Tell Me So),” a 1970 song by the Chi-Lites. The energetic arrangement and instantly recognizable brass figure helped make the track one of Beyoncé's signature recordings.
“Crazy in Love” became Beyoncé's first number-one single as a solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100. It also won three Grammy Awards in 2004, including Best R&B Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration.
