Which Singapore landmark has a rooftop SkyPark shaped like a ship?

The story behind the answer

The Singapore landmark with a rooftop SkyPark shaped like a ship is Marina Bay Sands.

Opened in 2010, Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort on Singapore’s Marina Bay waterfront, designed by architect Moshe Safdie. Its three hotel towers rise separately and are joined at the top by the Sands SkyPark, a long cantilevered platform whose silhouette resembles a ship sailing above the city.

The SkyPark contains gardens, restaurants, an observation deck and the famous infinity pool. The pool is reserved for hotel guests, while the public observation deck offers wide views of Singapore’s skyline, Marina Bay and Gardens by the Bay. The platform is about 340 metres long and sits roughly 200 metres above ground.

A common mix-up is to call the entire building the “SkyPark.” Marina Bay Sands is the full resort; the ship-like rooftop structure is specifically the Sands SkyPark. The resort also includes a casino, convention centre, ArtScience Museum and luxury shopping mall.
