Saudi Aramco had a market capitalization of about $1.88 trillion after its 2019 IPO.
Saudi Aramco’s shares began trading on the Saudi Stock Exchange, or Tadawul, in December 2019. The initial public offering valued the company at approximately $1.7 trillion, and a strong first-day rise lifted its market capitalization to roughly $1.88 trillion.
The company is Saudi Arabia’s national oil company and one of the world’s largest integrated energy businesses. Its operations include crude-oil production, refining, petrochemicals, natural gas, and international investments.
Reports sometimes compare its valuation with technology companies such as Apple or Microsoft. Those comparisons can be difficult because oil-company values are strongly affected by energy prices, production expectations, reserves, and government policy. Market capitalization also changes after listing as the share price moves.
