Which satirical Tumblr page uses Hawkeye poses to critique comic-book art?

The satirical Tumblr page that uses Hawkeye poses to critique comic-book art is The Hawkeye Initiative.

Launched in December 2012, the project placed Marvel archer Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, into the extreme, physically implausible, or sexualized poses often assigned to female superheroes. The visual joke was intended to make familiar comic-book conventions look strange when applied to a male character.

The idea grew from online discussions about the “strong female superhero pose.” Comic artist ND Stevenson suggested the gender-swapping concept, and the artist Blue created an early example by switching Hawkeye and Black Widow on a comic cover. The Tumblr page was then created and maintained by Skjaldmeyja.

The Hawkeye Initiative is sometimes confused with Women in Refrigerators, which is a related but distinct feminist comics criticism project focused on stories in which female characters are harmed or killed to motivate male heroes. The Hawkeye Initiative instead concentrates mainly on visual representation and posing.
