Which Rocket League game mode allows players to use power-ups?

The story behind the answer

Rumble is the Rocket League game mode that lets players use power-ups.

Introduced in September 2016, Rumble keeps the core car-soccer format but adds special abilities that appear around the arena. Players collect them and activate them strategically, turning ordinary challenges into sudden reversals.

The power-ups include familiar effects such as the Grappling Hook, Plunger, Magnetizer, Freeze, Tornado, Haymaker, and Spikes. Some affect the ball, while others move or disrupt cars. Because these abilities are temporary and distributed during play, Rumble rewards timing and improvisation more than a standard match does.

Hoops changes the objective to basketball, Snow Day replaces the ball with a hockey puck, and Dropshot uses breakable floor tiles rather than conventional goals. Those modes alter the arena or scoring rules, but they do not define the power-up mechanic. Rumble is therefore the single canonical answer.
