Which reality series starred Tila Tequila as contestants competed for her affection?

A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila was the MTV reality dating series in which contestants competed for Tila Tequila’s affection.

The show premiered on MTV in October 2007 and used a competition format built around a large group of potential partners living together. Its central premise attracted attention because both men and women competed, reflecting Tequila’s publicly bisexual identity at the time.

Contestants took part in dates, group activities, and elimination ceremonies as Tequila decided whom to keep. The first season became one of MTV’s most successful original programs of the late 2000s and led to a second season.

The title is often shortened to A Shot at Love, but the full series title includes Tila Tequila. It should also not be confused with MTV’s other dating programs, which used different hosts and formats.
