Which Pokémon is known as Peakychu in Pokémon Pokopia?

Peakychu is a Pikachu in Pokémon Pokopia. This individual Pikachu has lost the ability to generate electricity, giving the familiar character a problem that fits the game’s restorative themes.

Pikachu is one of the most recognizable Pokémon in the franchise and is an Electric-type species known for producing electricity from its cheek sacs. Peakychu’s condition reverses that expected ability, making the character distinct from an ordinary Pikachu while retaining the species’ identity.

The name “Peakychu” is a character name, not a new evolutionary stage. Pikachu normally evolves from Pichu and can evolve into Raichu, but Peakychu is presented as a special individual encountered in Pokopia’s story.

This character also illustrates how Pokopia adapts familiar Pokémon traits into personal stories. Instead of focusing on battle strength, the game asks players to understand what a Pokémon needs and help it live in a functioning community.
