Which PlayStation handheld received Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified? PlayStation Vita received it.
Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified was released in 2012 as a first-person shooter developed by nStigate Games and published by Activision for Sony’s PlayStation Vita. It was designed as a dedicated handheld entry rather than a port of the console versions of Black Ops or Black Ops II.
The game’s story takes place between Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops II. Its campaign follows familiar series characters and includes objective-based missions, while separate Hostiles and multiplayer modes broaden the experience. Vita-specific controls use the system’s dual analog sticks, front touch screen and rear touch pad.
A common mix-up is Roads to Victory, which was also associated with a Call of Duty handheld release but appeared on PlayStation Portable. Nintendo DS received other Call of Duty titles, including Modern Warfare: Mobilized and Modern Warfare 3: Defiance. Nokia N-Gage likewise had no role in Declassified’s release.
