Which planet did Voyager 2 visit after Saturn?

The story behind the answer

Voyager 2 visited Uranus after Saturn.

Voyager 2 encountered Saturn in August 1981, then continued outward toward Uranus, reaching that planet in January 1986. The spacecraft’s route was made possible by gravity assists: the gravity of each giant planet changed Voyager 2’s speed and trajectory, enabling the next leg of its journey.

The Uranus flyby was the first and, so far, only close spacecraft visit to the planet. Voyager 2 discovered new moons, examined Uranus’s faint rings, measured its atmosphere and magnetic field, and returned detailed images of the ice giant’s unusual sideways rotation. It later continued to Neptune, which it reached in 1989.

Jupiter came before Saturn, while Neptune came after Uranus. Pluto is not part of Voyager 2’s planetary sequence; it is a dwarf planet and was later visited by New Horizons in 2015. The question refers to the order of Voyager 2’s major planetary encounters, not every object it passed near.
