Which Pixar short was released with Monsters, Inc. on its 2002 home-video edition?

Mike’s New Car was released with Monsters, Inc. on its 2002 home-video edition.

The short follows Mike Wazowski as he proudly shows Sulley his new sports car. A simple drive quickly becomes a comic disaster when Mike struggles with the vehicle’s controls and attempts to recover from a series of mishaps.

Mike’s New Car was directed by Pete Docter and Roger Gould and features the voices of Billy Crystal and John Goodman in their Monsters, Inc. roles. It was created as a companion piece rather than as a scene from the feature film.

Viewers sometimes confuse it with For the Birds, which accompanied Monsters, Inc. in theaters, or with later Pixar shorts connected to other films. The home-video pairing is specifically Mike’s New Car.
