Which Pixar short film features Mater traveling back in time in a time machine?

Time Travel Mater is the Pixar short in which Mater travels through time in a time machine.

The short is part of the Mater’s Tall Tales series, a collection of Cars Toons that exaggerate Mater’s adventures. In Time Travel Mater, Mater and Lightning McQueen encounter a time machine and visit different periods, allowing the short to play with historical settings and vehicle-themed jokes.

Mater’s Tall Tales often leave viewers wondering whether Mater’s stories really happened, but the series treats his storytelling as playful comedy rather than strict Cars continuity. Time Travel Mater was released in 2012 and is one of the series’ imaginative, fantastical entries.
