Which Pixar film introduced the character Cruz Ramirez?

Cars 3 introduced the character Cruz Ramirez.

Cruz Ramirez is a high-performance trainer who works at the Rust-eze Racing Center. She initially helps Lightning McQueen prepare for competition against a new generation of technologically advanced racers, but her role changes as the story develops.

The film presents Cruz as more than a coach. Her enthusiasm for racing and her own unfulfilled ambitions become central to the plot. Lightning eventually recognizes her ability and gives her an opportunity to compete, making her one of the franchise’s most important new characters.

Cars 3 was released in 2017 and was directed by Brian Fee. It returned the series to a more personal racing story after Cars 2’s international spy-adventure plot. Cristela Alonzo provided Cruz Ramirez’s voice in the English-language version.
