Cars 2 features the spy car Finn McMissile.
Finn McMissile is a British intelligence agent who investigates the plot surrounding the World Grand Prix. He recruits Holley Shiftwell and becomes involved with Mater, whose accidental interference helps expose the conspiracy. Michael Caine provides Finn's voice in the English version.
Cars 2 shifts the franchise from the small-town road story of the first film to an international action adventure. Its locations include Tokyo, Porto Corsa, and London, while the racing event provides cover for a plan involving Allinol fuel and electromagnetic weapons.
Finn McMissile is specific to Cars 2's spy narrative. Cars focuses on McQueen's time in Radiator Springs, and Cars 3 centers on his struggle with a younger generation of racers. Cars on the Road is a later series about McQueen and Mater's travels, not the film that introduced Finn.
