Which Pixar Cars character is a green Volkswagen Type 2 bus?

Fillmore is the green Volkswagen Type 2 bus in Pixar’s Cars. He lives in Radiator Springs and runs an organic fuel store, reflecting his counterculture personality and interest in alternative energy.

Fillmore’s name references George Fillmore, one of the founders of the Fillmore music venue in San Francisco. The character is voiced by George Carlin in Cars and Cars 2, while Lloyd Sherr later voiced him in Cars 3 and other appearances.

The Volkswagen Type 2, also known as the Transporter or Microbus, became strongly associated with the 1960s counterculture movement. Fillmore’s neighbor is Sarge, a military jeep, and the two frequently disagree about politics, fuel, and lifestyle.
