Jay-Z features on Beyoncé’s song “Crazy in Love.”
Released in 2003, the track was the lead single from Beyoncé’s debut solo album, Dangerously in Love. Its production by Rich Harrison uses a prominent horn sample from the Chi-Lites’ 1970 song “Are You My Woman (Tell Me So).”
Jay-Z contributes a rap verse, while Beyoncé delivers the main vocal. The collaboration became a defining early example of their professional partnership, which later included additional recordings and live performances.
“Crazy in Love” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became one of Beyoncé’s signature songs. It also won Grammy Awards for Best R&B Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 46th Grammy Awards in 2004.
