Answer
Myles Garrett
Answer
Myles Garrett
Myles Garrett was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams on June 1, 2026.
Garrett entered the NFL as the first overall pick in the 2017 Draft out of Texas A&M. He became Cleveland’s premier pass rusher, earning repeated Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors while establishing himself as one of the league’s most disruptive edge defenders.
The Rams acquired Garrett in a major deal that sent outside linebacker Jared Verse and future draft choices to Cleveland. The reported compensation included a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-round pick. The move gave Los Angeles another elite defender for a roster built to contend immediately.
Garrett was also the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year at the time of the trade and had set the league’s single-season sack record with 23 sacks in 2025. Rashan Gary and Trey Hendrickson were not involved in this Cleveland-to-Los Angeles transaction.
