Logan Jones was the Bears center who entered 2026 camp after winning the 2025 Rimington Trophy.
Jones won the Rimington Trophy as Iowa’s senior center in 2025. The award is named for former Nebraska center Dave Rimington and is presented annually to the nation’s top collegiate center. Jones became only the second Iowa player to win it, following Tyler Linderbaum in 2021.
Chicago selected Jones in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft with the 57th overall pick. He had spent six seasons at Iowa, starting extensively after moving from the defensive line to center. His experience, leadership and run-blocking ability made him one of the most accomplished interior offensive linemen in the class.
The other options are plausible draft-related names but do not fit the full description. Jones is specifically the 2025 Rimington winner and was drafted by Chicago. The Rimington Trophy should also not be confused with the Outland Trophy, which covers the broader group of college interior linemen rather than centers alone.
