LOUD won the 2022 Valorant Champions grand final.
The Brazilian organization defeated North American team OpTic Gaming 3–1 in the final in Istanbul, Turkey. The result gave LOUD its first world title in Riot Games’ Valorant championship series and completed a tournament run in which the team lost only one map before the grand final.
LOUD’s championship roster included Erick “aspas” Santos, Gustavo “sacy” Rossi, Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro, Arthur “tuyz” Andrade, and Bryan “pANcada” Luna. The team was coached by Matheus “bzkA” Tarasconi.
Valorant Champions is the concluding global tournament of each Valorant competitive season. The 2022 event followed the inaugural Champions tournament in 2021, which was won by Acend. LOUD’s victory was therefore the second championship in Valorant’s world-title history.
